Nicole Hubert

Nicole has over 15 years experience training dogs. She attended the prestigious Tom Rose School for dog trainers. Hers was one of the last classes fully taught by the world renowned Tom Rose himself. She has trained thousands of pet dogs since, as well as single and dual purpose police K9s.
Nicole has competed successfully in various dog sports with her personal dogs, achieving multiple first places, High obedience, and High Owner Trained awards, with her Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds. She specializes in canine aggression as well as fear based behaviors.

Nicole and her husband, Stephane, breed Belgian Malinois and German Shepherds that have a proven track record both on the street and on the competition field. Nicole’s current competition dog, Kahlua, is also a certified Explosive Detection Dog. She is in training for IPO, PSA, and French Ring. Nicole and Kahlua have done numerous demos and seminars for schools and special events.
In the past seven years Nicole has trained hundreds of dogs and their handlers on various techniques in personal protection.
Stephane Hubert

During that time, he had the opportunity to train and learn from the best trainers in Europe where he ended up working with police and military canine training.
Severals years later he had the chance to move to the USA where he trained and coached police departments, Army canine units and special forces.
Stephane is one of the top decoys in the world. Here he is featured on the cover of an international canine equipment catalog.
Stephane has over 23 years experience training dogs. He grew up in France where because of his parent’s boarding and competition business he was totally immersed in dog training from the age of 12.
Stephane had competed successfully in numerous types of dog sports. He is well-known as one of the best decoys in the world. (A decoy is the bad guy that the canine bites)
It is common for Stephane to have clients travel 6 hours on weekly basis to train their dogs under his guidance.
Stephane lives and breathes dogs and he’s dedicated to building dogs that will take care of YOU.
Jonathan Smart, Decoy and Trainer

Jon is a retired marine and purple heart recipient. His passion for working canines led him to a training school where he was instructed by Nicole and Stephane. He did so well we have invited him to do his internship with us and eventually become a member of our team!
His experience in the field has been invaluable in giving us another perspective on real world canine needs. Jon shows a natural ability to decoy (be the “bad” guy) and bring out the best in our dogs. He and his wife also breed and train Labradors for field trial, detection, and companions.
Tom Antion, Business Manager

Tom comes from a long history of owning and operating successful businesses. He’s a relatively new protection dog owner himself and he can really relate to the questions that come up from our clients who have never owned a protection canine before.
Tom created our Protection Dog Glossary to help new owners understand the terms used when owning and working with dogs that will lay down their life to protect you and your family.
Tom also has a TV show in development in Hollywood called https://scambrigade.com/ where Tom goes after people who rip off others.

Abbie Hubert, Future Dog Whisperer

Abbie is Nicole’s daughter and an up and coming dog whisperer! She was born into the dog training life and helps in nearly all aspects of training the dogs. She loves to help proof the personal protection dogs’ obedience as well as help train and socialize puppies born here. Sometimes we can even convince her to clean kennels! But mostly she plays with and trains the dogs.
